Who are the masterminds behind Why Does God Hate Buffalo?

Funny you should ask. The WDGHB contingent is made up of three dudes from NY, two of whom grew up in the Queen City, and all of whom feel terrible pangs of sympathy and pain for its residents, especially when it comes to pro sports.

Rob Harris spent his formative years in Buffalo, graduating from Amherst High School in 1989 and attending college in Rochester and Syracuse. Rob has been a Bills & Sabres fan all his life and has pretty much gotten used to the fact that a Sabres or Bills championship is as elusive as a Buffalo snow-day; in other words, it ain’t gonna happen. Rob currently resides in Northern VA where he watches and listens to Buffalo sports remotely, and sometimes in person, making trips to Buffalo every so often to visit family.

Kevin Hodge, a native of Johnstown, NY, is all too familiar with Buffalo’s curse and is the driving force behind much of the whydoesgodhatebuffalo.com content. Kevin attended college in Fredonia and Rochester and has had more than ample opportunity to see the pain up-close-and-personal. Kevin currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where he works as an audio engineer, producer, and yes, a musician (albeit a non-starving one).

Mark Caserta also grew up in Buffalo and has loved the Bills and Sabres as long as he can remember. He’s witnessed the pain first-hand and has become as jaded as the rest of us when it comes to Buffalo teams winning the big one (with the exception of the Buffalo Bandits…man, could they play!). Mark graduated from Amherst HS with Rob and attended Fredonia with Kevin, so you could say he’s the sticky glue of the WDGHB triumvirate. Mark attended schools in Buffalo and Albany, and today he lives in Brooklyn where he runs an environmentally responsible store with his wife.
